Release 2.2
Saved words and phrases used to pile up in one long list, which made the Review tab hard to actually use. We rebuilt it around Collections so you can organize everything you've picked up into your own groups, whether that's a trip you're planning, your coffee order, or the words that never seem to stick.
Organizing your own vocabulary matters more than it sounds. The words you keep are the building blocks of who you become in another language, and grouping them around the parts of your life you care about is what makes them stay. And since you really only learn to speak by speaking, any collection can be turned into a drill, so the words you organize are the words you practice out loud.
You can now:
- Sort saved words into your own collections, with a Saved Cards bucket that holds everything by default.
- Create, rename, and delete collections, each with its own emoji and description.
- Move cards with a swipe, or select a bunch at once to move or delete them together.
- Start a Speaking Drill from any collection. Pick more than ten cards and we shuffle a random ten so it stays fresh.
